The diagnosis of AIDS and HIV infection (ws-293-2019) (hereinafter referred to as "the new standard") revised by China CDC AIDS prevention center and 11 AIDS prevention and control units passed the examination of the special committee of infectious disease standards of the National Health Standards Commission, which issued it to the whole country on January 2, 2019.
The new standard mainly tracks the rapid progress of global and Chinese AIDS prevention and control work and the change of prevention and control focus after the promulgation of the 2008 edition of "diagnosis of AIDS and HIV infection" (ws-293-2008), so as to expand the diagnostic methods of HIV infection in China and adjust the clinical stages of AIDS, so as to make AIDS prevention and control and medical personnel in China, especially basic Basic medical and health personnel can diagnose and treat HIV infected and AIDS patients more quickly and conveniently. The main revised contents of the new standard include: 1) expanding the nucleic acid detection from the previous diagnosis of children to the diagnosis index of all people; 2) expanding the nucleic acid detection as the diagnosis index from the previous qualitative detection to the quantitative detection widely used in the clinical treatment work; in order to ensure the accuracy of the quantitative detection of nucleic acid, according to the data of the pilot work in China, it is set as 5000 The threshold index of CPS / ml; 3) simplify the clinical stage of HIV infection and AIDS, and adjust it from three major periods and five small periods to three periods: early, middle and late stages of HIV infection (AIDS); 4) according to the newly revised National AIDS testing technical specifications, the determination of HIV infection is mainly based on the standard of reagent manufacturers, so as to ensure the diagnosis of AIDS industry in China The authority of the standard was broken, and a detailed diagnostic index of HIV infection was added to the new version of the diagnostic standard. For this reason, the text of the new standard has also been simplified and updated, including dozens of symptoms and clinical manifestations related to each stage of the original version of HIV infection included in Appendix B.
In the half a year after the new standard was issued in January this year, Professor Shao Yiming, the leading expert of the new standard drafting organized by the AIDS prevention center of China CDC, and other experts participating in the drafting, publicized and answered questions on the new standard at the national and provincial AIDS prevention working conferences and academic conferences, and deepened the understanding and understanding of the new standard by AIDS prevention and treatment personnel in China. The legal department of the National Health Commission decided to implement the diagnosis of AIDS and HIV infection (ws-293-2019) from July 1, which will replace ws-293-2008. The implementation of the new standard will further promote the diagnosis, treatment and prevention and control of AIDS in China, and better serve the AIDS patients in China.
